Garbage and Recycling Totes Information:

• All homeowners can place their garbage in the garbage totes at the curb from 7:00 pm the night before, as well as recycling totes (as per the calendar below). No garbage will be picked up if not in the appropriate totes. Please note the following:
• Place wheels of the tote at the curb towards your house.
• Lid should open towards the street
• Tote should not be in the driveway or out in the street
• Ensure tote lid is closed and not overflowing, as excess can spill onto the street
• When both the recycle and garbage bins are to be picked up, please place them at least one metre apart
• Recycle totes should be filled loose. Please no plastic bags.
• Exception – shredded paper should be placed in the container without a bag if it is at the bottom of the can. If the shredding is at the top, please place it in a clear bag to avoid a mess when container is dumped.

Yard Waste Information:

• Yard waste pick up is the 1rst and 3rd Tuesday of the month. The service is offered from March to November. Please have your containers at the curb by 7:00 A.M.
• Please use plastic containers and not plastic bags or tarps. Two containers per household. Yard waste does not include dirt, grass and rocks.
